What is Sleep Paralysis?
This is when a feeling of being conscious but unable to move, and is known as sleep paralysis. It may occur when a person passes between stages of sleep and wakefulness . During these occurrences, one may be unable to move or speak for upwards to a few minutes. Some might also experience a sense of choking or a feeling of pressure.
Use of a supplemental omega-3 fish oil taken intermittently throughout day is one method in natural treatment of sleep paralysis.
Cold and Dark
At bedtime, keep room cold and dark. (temperature between 60 to 73˚, and lights out). The cold will help decrease your core body temperature, also darkness that is more nocturnally natural to in turn induce sleep.
