Ovarian Cyst
What is Ovarian Cyst?
This somewhat common malady is when fluid-filled sacs or pockets form within or on surface of an ovary, and is then named ovarian cyst (or cysts). Women have two ovaries, each around the size/shape of an almond, located on each side of uterus. Eggs (or ova) develop and mature in the ovaries and are released in monthly cycles during ones childbearing period (or years). Although most ovarian cysts present little or no discomfort and are harmless. Most ovarian cysts disappear without treatment within a few months. However, ovarian cysts , and especially those (ovarian cysts) that have ruptured, sometimes will form serious symptoms.

Ovarian Cyst Natural Health Healing TipsThis herb chamomile (see vitamins, etc.) when used as a tea is also considered a good remedy for treating ovarian cyst (or cysts) including associated pain and discomfort. A gentle sedative effect of chamomile tea (organic, best) will reduce pain and help one relax. And a warming nature of this tea will also help regulate irregular periods by stimulating blood flow in pelvic area and uterus areas. Try mixing two teaspoons of dried chamomile in cup of hot water. Then cover and steep for five minutes. Next strain and add one teaspoon of honey and drink tea. Enjoy! One might use two to three cups of chamomile tea daily until problem subsists.
Epsom SALT BathTo greatly help reduce pain and other symptoms associated with ovarian cysts try an Epsom salt bath. A high magnesium sulfate content in Epsom salt works as a pain easing muscle relaxant. Try
adding one cup Epsom salt to bathtub filled with warm water. Then add between 5-10 drops of essential oils like rose, lavender or jasmine. Next, stir for a few minutes so that the salt dissolves, soak lower body in this (same) water for 20 to 30 minutes. Use treatment once a day. Please remember that (in case one were using other prescription medications) it's always a good thing to first consult with a healthcare practitioner (or doctor) before starting any new ovarian cyst treatment (either naturopathic or homeopathic doctor, best).
